strange teddy-save his life
Rahul was returning to his house in the city from his village. His bus was moving slowly on the roads between the village and the city. On the way, he saw a small market by the roadside. Many things were being sold there, but his eyes stopped on a vendor selling a teddy bear. The teddy was beautiful and unique, as if it had something special about it. Rahul thought for a while and decided to buy it. He placed the teddy on the shelf in his room and got busy with his daily work.
A few days later, one night, as Rahul lay on his bed, he heard a faint voice. The voice was strange, saying, “Leave this house. Your life is in danger.” Rahul thought it was just his imagination and ignored it. But the voice came back every night.
One night, Rahul realized the voice was coming from the teddy bear. Filled with fear and curiosity, he asked the teddy, “Who are you?” The teddy responded with the same strange voice, “Leave quickly; this is your last warning.”
Rahul was now sure something was wrong. He decided to leave his house and move to a hotel, but he took the teddy with him. That night, while he was at the hotel, his old house suddenly collapsed. Rahul was shocked to see this. He thanked the teddy and asked, “Who are you? Why did you save my life?”
The teddy repeated in the same voice, “Leave this house. Your life is in danger.” Rahul immediately asked the hotel receptionist to change his room. That night, the fan fell on the bed he was supposed to sleep on. Now Rahul was completely terrified and confused. He asked the teddy, “What should I do?” But the teddy repeated, “Leave this house too. Your life is in danger.”
Rahul switched rooms again, but the strange incidents kept happening. Frustrated, he took the teddy and went to the seashore. The moonlit sea looked beautiful, but Rahul was scared and restless. He begged the teddy, “Please guide me. I don’t know what to do anymore.”
The teddy then said, “Throw me into the water.”
“No, no! You’ve saved my life so many times. I can’t let you go. You’re my best friend,” Rahul replied.
But the teddy insisted, “Throw me into the water.”
Trusting the teddy, Rahul finally threw it into the sea. As soon as the teddy hit the water, it transformed into a beautiful mermaid. The mermaid smiled and said, “Rahul, you’ve freed me from this curse.”
Rahul was astonished and asked, “Who are you? What’s all this?”
The mermaid explained, “I was a princess cursed to become a teddy bear. Your house collapsed because of the cursed teddy—it wanted to harm you since you cared for me. But I always protected you. Now, you’ve freed me.”
The mermaid gave Rahul some golden stones and said, “Sell these and buy a new house in the city.”
Rahul thanked her and said, “You saved my life and changed it forever. I’ll always be grateful to you.”
The mermaid smiled and said, “If you ever need me, come to the seashore. I’ll be there to meet you.”
Then, the mermaid slowly disappeared into the water. Rahul sold the golden stones and bought a beautiful new house in the city. He now lives a safe and happy life, cherishing the memories of the moments he spent with the magical mermaid.
